Yeshua was born in Bethlehem a town still in Israel. He lived in Nazareth also still part of modern Israel. He died outside of Jerusalem the eternal capital of Israel and rose from the dead from that same city. He will return again to Jerusalem, the city of the Great King!
He is that Great King!
The gospel was preached first to Jewish fisherman by the sea of Galilee.
After the Sprit of God fell upon the disciples in an upper room in Jerusalem, the word of God spread throughout the land of Israel and then to the four corners of the earth.
What began in Jerusalem must end in Jerusalem!
This is the plan of Him who is the beginning and the end!
When speaking over the city of Jerusalem the Lord proclaimed:
“For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say,
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” (Matthew 23:39)
The Lord will not come to Jerusalem again until he hears the words,
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”
(In Hebrew) Baruch Haba B’shem Adonai
These words must be spoken by the authorities who over Jerusalem.
Let’s examine this prophetic biblical truth.
I believe this will greatly inspire you to strive for excellence to be equipped and empowered in Jewish evangelism so you will be able:
...to present yourself before God as one approved, a workman who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
(2 Timothy 2:15)
The words “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”, are the very words spoken to this day at every Jewish wedding to welcome the bridegroom!
Baruch Haba B’shem Adonai
Yeshua must hear the call for the Bridegroom before He returns!
How can Yeshua hear such a cry if the authorities in Jerusalem do not know he is the bridegroom?
Therefore there must be a believing, expectant voice of faith coming out of Jerusalem crying for their King to come back to the
City of the Great King!
And that is where you come in!
As you, are equipped and then faithfully go out equipped and empowered, and begin communicating the gospel to the Jew first, in faith, I believe many of the lost sheep of the House of Israel will be found and ushered into the Kingdom of God!
When that happens there will be multitudes of Jews in Jerusalem who will be yearning for the Lord to come and rescue them from the great distress that is prophesied to come upon that city!
“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has come near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside the city depart, and let not those who are out in the country enter it; for these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.”
(Luke 21:20-22)
The cry for the bridegroom will sound like a trumpet from the City of the Great King!
The gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come! (Matthew 24:14)
Can you get excited about ushering in the end of all things by hastening the day of the Lord?
Let’s put our hands together, grasp the yoke of the Kingdom and get to work!
